For studios and creators

Your game, made by us or made with you.

For people with an idea they want to see playable, and for studios that already have a game and want to develop faster, launch better and build a community around it.

Making the game is half the journey. The other half is someone playing it

Every week, hundreds of new games arrive on Steam. Many are good and go almost unnoticed, because the team spent all its energy building and only started thinking about players, the store page and community close to launch. When the game is ready, nobody is waiting for it.

At the start of the journey, the problem is a different one: the idea that never leaves the page, because making a game seems to require years of programming, a team and a budget that do not exist yet.

Both ends have a solution, and it is the same one: work in short cycles, with the game playable early and players following along from the first prototype.

2 ways to work with us

We make it for you

You bring the idea, and we take care of the rest. Together we write the game on a single page, develop it in short cycles with a playable version at the end of each stage, and take it all the way to launch: art, sound, publishing and the plan for the game to find its players. You follow everything by playing, and you make decisions with the game in your hands.

We make it with you

Your studio already has a game, or is in the middle of one. We step in where you need us:

  • Speed up development. Planning, a scope you can finish, the one-page design document and the short cycle that took us from an idea to a playable version in less than a week.
  • Marketing and launch. The store page, the trailer, the wishlist, content creators and the launch campaign.
  • Community. Discord, social media and running a community that plays the test builds, gives feedback and reaches launch day alongside you.
  • Publishing. Where to publish, what each store requires and how to prepare the game for browser, PC and mobile.

We are an indie studio too

We face the same decisions you do: what to cut, when to show it, where to publish. In 5 weeks, we took 2 games from the page to playable versions, and that way of working is what we bring to your project.

On the industry side, Nextborn's founder spent 7 years inside the games industry, in community, esports, partnerships with content creators and the Brazilian operations of international platforms. He saw up close what makes a player discover a game, come back the next day and bring their friends.

What we learn in our games, we bring to yours.

How it starts

  1. You tell us about the project.

Where it stands, what you need and where you want to take it.

  2. We talk and build the plan.

A few questions and a tailored proposal, made for your game and for where you are right now.

  3. You play before you decide.

Before the full project, you play a vertical slice: a small piece of the game that already looks and plays like the final version. Every stage ends with something you can play or measure. The next step is decided on top of what already exists.

If what you want is to build your own game with your own hands, our course teaches the whole process, from the idea to the store.

Frequently asked questions about game development

How much does it cost to develop a game with you?

It depends on the size of the game and what you need. Since every project is tailored, the price comes with the proposal. Short cycles and a lean team keep the cost fairer than traditional development.

How long does it take?

It depends on the scope. The first playable version is ready in weeks, and you follow every stage by playing it.

Who owns the rights to the game?

Rights are agreed in the contract for each project, and the default is that the game is yours.

What tools do you work with?

Our games use Godot and web technology, which run in the browser, on PC and on mobile. If your project already uses another tool, we look at it together in the first conversation.

Can I hire you for just marketing or just community?

Yes. You choose the areas you need, and the plan is built around them.
