Privacy policy

This page explains what data Nextborn Games receives through the nextborngames.com website, what we use it for and how you can request access, correction or deletion, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law, the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law 13,709/2018).

Who looks after your data

Nextborn Games is a project by Paulo Ribeiro, who is responsible for processing the data. Contact for any privacy matter: hello@nextborngames.com.

What we collect

Only what you write in the forms: name, email, WhatsApp, country, organization, the interests you select and your message or comment. Along with each submission, we record the page it came from, the site language, the date and, when there is one, the campaign or event that brought you here. We also record the approximate country of the connection and a code derived from your IP address, used only to block automated bulk submissions. We do not store the IP address itself.

What we use it for

To reply to what you asked for: your request, your feedback, the course waitlist, the devlog notice or your collaboration proposal. We do not sell or rent data to anyone, and we do not use your data for anything you did not ask for.

Where the data is kept

The data is stored on Cloudflare, the company that hosts the website, which may store it on servers outside Brazil, with the safeguards required by law. A notice of each submission goes to the studio's email, on Google.

How long

For as long as the contact makes sense for what you asked for. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to know what data we have about you, to correct it, to delete it or to stop receiving messages. Just write to hello@nextborngames.com, or reply to any email from us, and we will handle the request.

Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores in your browser only your language choice and, during your visit, the campaign that brought you here, so the form can record where you came from. Visits are measured without cookies and without identifying who you are.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated.
