About the studio
Nextborn Games is an independent game studio from São Paulo, Brazil, founded in September 2026 by Paulo Ribeiro. It makes its own tactical RPGs, custom games for schools and companies, and teaches people who want to make their own game. It works with a lean team and short cycles: in about five weeks, it took two games from paper to playable versions.

About the game
A world where fire, water, earth and wind are currency, weapon and faith, and whoever controls an element decides who eats. SRD Tactics is the prelude: the 3 years leading up to the night when everything changes. Combat uses the open rules of SRD 5.2, the same classes, spells and d20 rolls used at millions of tabletop RPG tables, with 3 difficulty levels.
Who makes it
Paulo Ribeiro, 44. A gamer since the Atari and a tabletop RPG game master since age 12. He spent ten years running a geek store, six in the classroom and seven in the games industry, in community, content creators and partnerships. He founded Nextborn in September 2026.
